- Description
- Food and Drug Administration intends to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis to Johns Hopkins University for residents to work on postmarketing vaccine safety research, vaccine adverse event surveillance, risk communication of (if the need arises) similar work involving non-vaccine biologic products. The residents will participate in the design, implementation, analysis and writing components of studies involving adverse events following administration of biologic products. They will review adverse event literature and prepare reports of their findings. Also, they will provide medical assessments of reports of adverse events. The purchase order is being issued on a sole source basis because the residents of the Johns Hopkins University Preventive Medicine Residency Program are among the most talented and productive in the nation, and they will tailor their services to our needs.
