Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. USMC Regional Contracting Office (RCO), Okinawa Japan has a firm fixed price requirement for SmartNet Maintenance Global Support Service. The maintenance shall consist of one hour telephone callback for equipment configuration and software problems by the Technical Assistance Center (6 AM 6 PM) Pacific Time, Monday through Friday; telephone support access is required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for Emergency Net-Down Support, E-Mails inquiries and responses. Major software updates and software maintenance releases are required. New manuals are required with each software maintenance. Access to CISCO Information Online (CIO) is required and a guaranteed 3 day delivery of advance replacement parts (when the request is received before 3:00 PM Pacific Time). All services shall be delivered to FOB Destination to: A/CS G-6 MCB Camp D. Butler, Bldg 5715 Camp Foster, Unit 35029, FPO AP 96373-5029. Acceptance will be made at destination. Required sevices are for the period covering 01Oct00 through 30Sep01. Award will be made based on the lowest evaluated price of quotes meeting or exceeding the technical acceptability standard. a. Written demonstration to provide trained, experienced and certified technical support personnel to include back-up personnel who are immediately available for contract performance.
