- This is a synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F9HCB202101500 is hereby issued as a Request for Quote. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This is a full and open acquisition. TO RENOVATE THE LACKLAND AFB CHAPEL SOUND SYSTEM. Description 1 lo. The contractor shall provide a high quality system capable of supporting both voice and musical reproductions. System installation will be aesthetically pleasing, provide full back-up capability while allowing for future modification or component replacement. This system should be capable of easily achieving high sound pressure levels without distortion. The contractor needs to perform all assembly of equipment, wiring interconnects and soldering of wires to jacks, devices, terminals of equipment, using employees who are trained and experienced in the installation of sound equipment and its interconnection. Required at time of offer: Sufficient descriptive literature to show that the equipment offered meets the performance characteristics specified. Contractor will also provide detailed system wiring diagram and a rack elevation drawing showing equipment configuration within the rack. Required at time of award: Product data for each item installed. Provide complete owner_s manual at the time of completion of installation and final system acceptance. Contractor for power, signal and control, differentiating clearly between previously installed wiring and field installed wiring must provide detailed wiring at time of final inspection. Identify terminals to facilitate installation, operation and maintenance. System Requirements: in conjunction with Statement of Work. In accordance with FAR part 52.237-1, offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work is to be performed. Access to the site will be limited to an organized site visit. The site visit will be conducted on 22 Sep 00 at 0800. The contractors must come to the Contracting office located at 1655 Selfridge, Bldg. 5450 before going out to the site. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated and are to remain in full force in any resultant purchase order: FAR Clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors- Commercial Items (Nov 1999). It is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. It is amended to read: Submit a quotation to ATTN: Nancy Marshall, 1655 Selfridge, Bldg. 5450, Lackland AFB, TX 78236. You may also call P.O.C. at (210) 671-1766, send a fax to (210) 671-5064, or e-mail to nancy.marshall@lackland.af.mil. At or before 1200 Noon CST, 25 Sep 00. Quotations may be e-mailed or faxed. Offers on this acquisition shall be evaluated on the basis of price factors and best value determination. The government reserves the right to make award on the initial quote without discussions. Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (FEB 2000) with the quotation. If a copy of the provisions is needed, please request and a copy will be provided. FAR clause 52.212-4 (May 1999), Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition with the following addendum: DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration (Mar 1998). The clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Feb 2000) applies to this acquisition and is incorporated by reference.
