Description
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has a requirement for tax review and appeal services for the areas within the jurisdiction of the Atlanta and Fort Worth Multifamily Property Disposition Centers. Atlanta Multifamily Property Disposition (MFPD) Center has jurisdiction over the following geographic areas: Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee, Florida, Mississippi, New York, Maine, Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The Ft. Worth Multifamily Property Disposition (MFPD) Center has jurisdiction over the following geographic areas: Texas, Illinois, Ohio, Oregon, Michigan, Nebraska, Indiana, Kansas, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Nevada, Washington, Iowa, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, Oklahoma, Wyoming, Missouri, California, Arizona, Louisiana, Colorado, Arkansas, Hawaii, Alaska, and New Mexico. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, personnel, equipment, materials, supplies and other items and services necessary to perform, schedule, coordinate and assure effective performance of all tax review and appeal services as defined by the statement of work. The contractor shall be required to review, and (when appropriate), process the appeal of ad valorem tax assessments, for assigned property in accordance with the requirements of this contract. HUD anticipates awarding one contract. This contract will be for one base year with three one-year option periods. All responsible sources may submit a proposal. HUD anticipates mailing the solicitation on or about September 30, 2000. HUD posts all required notices of its contracting opportunities on its Internet Home Page Contracting Opportunities site at http://www.hud.gov/cts/ctsoprty.html. Potential offerors who register for the Electronic Source List (ESL) at the site will be notified by email of any amendments to the solicitation. All amendments are posted on, and may be downloaded from HUD's Home Page Contracting Opportunities site. Copies of this solicitation may also be requested by mail, email or fax at (404)730-3426. This solicitation is an unrestricted procurement; it is open to both large and small business firms.
