Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to Computer Motion, Goleta, CA for lease of two Automated Endoscopic System of Optimal Positioning (AESOP) AESOP 3000 with voice control for a period of 12 months beginning 1 Oct 2000 through 30 Sep 2001 with one option period beginning 1 Oct 2001 through 30 Sep 2002. This notice is not a request for offers. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used on other than full and open competition under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1. Market research revealed no other responsible source. The anticipated award date is 1 Oct 2000, subject to availability of funds.
