- Description
- PR 2000-00867, Firm Fixed Price Supply Contract, for a 2.0 to 2.5 GHz helicopter transmitter 5dBi omnidirectional antenna with skid mounted actuator short to medium range, a 2.0 to 2.5 GHz suitcase receiver manual tracking short range and two hand held receiver units with sun hood, battery charger and cigarette lighter interface. The transmitter shall meet all of the following specifications: designed for airborne operations, 11-32 volts DC operation, frequency agile from 2,000 to 2,500 MHz (2.0-2.5 GHz), 2 phase locked audio subcarriers, line and microphone level audio inputs available, selectable 3 watt/12 watt RF power output for low to high power transmissions, RF output impedance 50 W, SMA connector, spurious output _53 dBc maximum, line audio input +9 dBm @ 400Hz, 600 W balanced, 10 KW or 75 W unbalanced option, DC input voltage +11 to +32 VDC, DC input current 2-7.5A maximum, voltage dependent, temperature range _30 degrees centigrade to +70 degrees centigrade, humidity 0% to 100% non-condensing. All equipment must have Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approval in the form of a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) indicating that the equipment is certified in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) for use on Eurocopter AS-350 helicopters.
