Synopsis/solicitation: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included with this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, FA2550-00-Q-0388 is issued as a Brand Name Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. The Standard Industrial Classification Number is 5087 and the Business Size Standard is 100. The proposed system that is being procured is Mako Air Compressor, Model: 507BAC06H32306. Review the attached solititation for specifications. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors _Commercial Items, applies (vii) with the following evaluation factors: past performance and price evaluation factors are weighted equally, and price must be considered fair and reasonable. Offerors must include with their offer a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications _ Commercial Items. The clauses at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions _ Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders _ Commercial Items, 52.232.33, 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer _ Central Contractor Registration, and DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration, are applicable to this acquisition.
