Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR, Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued unrestricted under Request for Quotation number MDA414-00-Q-0002. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular number 90-45. The SIC code for this solicitation is 3571. The small business size standard is 500 employees. Contractor is to provide a FOB Destination price for the following Adobe items (Academic Boxed Copy pricing is requested): Adobe Photoshop 5.5 Mac,Adobe Illustrator 9.9 Mac, Adobe Design Mac, Metacreations Painter 6.0 Mac, and Intuous 9"12" Wintuous Pen & 4DMouse Mac. The quantity for each item is 139 each. Required delivery is 30 days after receipt of order. Inspection and acceptance to take place at destination. The following clauses/provisions apply to this solicitation: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, 52-212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items,52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, 52.214-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions including the following clauses incorporated by reference: 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37. 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to the Defense Acqusitions of Commercial Items to include the clause 252.225-7001.
