Description

THIS PROCUREMENT PREVIOUSLY APPEARED IN THE COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY AS SP0100-00-R-0060. Boot, Combat, Infantry will be procured under Purchase Description 97-3B dated 16 June 2000. This solicitation will contain two separate lines, one in support of Marine Corps requirements and on in support of Army/Air Force requirements. Procurement is for base year and four option terms. Quantities per year for the base year and each option term is as follows: Marine Corps: Min: 43,950 Pr; Max: 73,255 Pr; Army/AF: Min: 389,831 Pr; Max: 822,260 Pr. Adoption of this item by Army/Air Force is pending; therefore, award of the Army/AF is subject to their adoption of this item. If the Army/AF does not adopt this item, only one award will be made for the MC quantity which will be solicited on an Unrestricted basis. If the item is adopted by the Army/AF, three awards are anticipated and will be solicited in accordance with the following: 1) MC quantity and a portion of the Army quantity -- Unrestricted; 2) Second portion of the Army quantity -- Unrestricted; 3) Third portion of the Army quantity -- Small Business Set Aside. Production Leadtime is 120 days after date of award. Procurement will be issued utilizing Best Value procedures with factors as follows: PDM, Experience/Past Performance, Bill and Hold, Surge/Mobilization; Socio Economic and Javits-Wagner-O'Day. Lasts and Patterns will not be furnished by the Government.
