Description

Sole Source. The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, Arizona intends to negotiate a contract with National Wax Division, Dussex Campbell Inc, P.O. Box 549, Skokie, IL 60076.This requirement is for wax, bulk with a melting point of 195 degrees, Microcrystaline PH-100, 40,000 lbs. This wax is used in munitions testing. National Wax is the only company capable of providing Microcrystaline wax with a melting point of 195 degrees that is required for munitions testing. This wax is an ongoing requirement for USAYPG and we are continually seeking additional sources that can meet our needs. If you believe you have a product that will meet our needs and would like to participate in future requirements you may furnish a 10 lb. sample of your product for acceptance testing to Commander USAYPG, Attn: Jacklyn Wengstrom, AMSSB-ACY Bldg 2100, Yuma, AZ 85365-9106. Pursuant to FAR Part 12 and 13 this acquisition will be issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for a Commercial Items.
