Description

The Defense Support Services (DSS) has a sole-source requirement for Elcon Enterprises, Inc., to continue to provide support services for the Headquarters Complex elevators. Elcon will be required to refurbish the interiors of four (4) elevators. Remove existing interior wall and ceiling panels, install new wall and ceiling panels to match existing wood grain and color but in plastic laminate, remove existing lighting and replace with new lighting; and re-brush all existing stainless steel handrails. All work shall be done after normal duty hours, starting at 1900 hours on Friday and completion by 0600 hours on Monday. All elevators shall be back in service by 0600 hours Monday morning. All current elevator safety regulations must be maintained during this project. Elcon is currently the only contractor responsible for the safe operations of the elevators at the HQ Complex. No solicitation will be issued. Telephonic inquires will not be accepted. All capable, responsible and interested parties must submit a clear technical and cost proposal by 12:00 P.M., Friday, 22 SEP 00.
