The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, Information Systems Division, Procurement Branch (DITCO/DTS220, Scott AFB, IL is accepting offers under solicitation DCA200-00-T-5042 from vendors for the following equipment. Dell 256MB RAM DIMM P/N 311-0767 (QTY 1 Each); Dell 36 GB Hard Drive with SDRAM LVD SCSI Hard Drive 7.2K 1 " P/N 340-1867 (Qty 4 each); Dell Processor (733Mhz) P/N 311-5001 (Qty 2 each); Dell Computer Jukebox 4DRV 24X -- 240 Slots D240-40 P/N 6067714 (Qty 1 Each); Hewlett Packard Information Storage with SCSI 32X/8X/4X CD-RW (External)P/N C4458A (Qty 1 Each); Dell CD Technology CDR (100 CD Pack) (Qty 2 each); Oracle 8i Database, Standard Edition (Qty 1 each); Datum Network Time Server with GPS antenna 50 foot cable P/N BC12003-2001 (Qty 2 each); Datum 300 foot Antenna Cable P/N TS-OPT-20C (Qty 2 each); Sun Ultra 5 Workstation w/360 Mhz (2MB L2 Cashe) 9.1 GB 7200 RPM 32X CD (Qty 4 each); Sun Solaris 2.6 (Qty 4 each) Sun 17" Color Monitor (Qty 4 each) Sun 10/100Base T Fast Ethernet 2.0 (NC) (Qty 4 each). Equipment is to be delivered to Chambersburg, PA. This is a combination synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in acccordance with the format in Subpart 12.6. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation DCA200-00-T-5042 is issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clause are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 90-19. Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3669. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors is applicable to this acquisition. Addenda to FAR 52.212-1 is DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Offerors must be registered in the CCR database to be considered for award. The provisions at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items is applicable to this acquisition. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (1) Low overall price. Offerors are to complete and submit with their offer a completed copy of of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification -- Commercial Items. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Condisitions -- Commercial Items applies to this acquisitions. The following clause is added as addenda to 52.212-4. Year 2000 Compliance. (a) All information technology provided under or in support of this contract by the contractor and all subcontracts shall be year 2000 compliant. "Year 2000 compliant" means with respect to information technology, that the information technology processes date/time data(including but not limited to calculating, comparing and sequencing)from, into and between the twentieth and twenty-first centuries and the years 1999 and 2000 and leap year calculations, to the extent that other information technology, used in combination with the Information technology being acquired properly exchanges date/time data with it. (b) To ensure year 2000 compliance, the contractor shall, at a minimum, test a representative sampling of the information technology, or same type of information technology, that will be provided under the contract. Testing will be accomplished and documented in accordance with generally accepted commercial standards/practices. If requested, the contractor shall provide the Government with a copy of their random sampling testing documentation sufficient to provide reasonable assurances of year 2000 compliance, at no additional charge to the Government.
