Description

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to enter into negotiations with Axent Technologies, Inc., 2440 Research Boulevard, Suite 200, Rockville, MD 20850 for continued software maintenance services subject to the availability of FY-00 funds. The maintenance services for the software listed below includes usage rights, enhancements, correction of errors and omissions, and all updates necessary for synchronization in the NCC computing environment. The Agency's requirement for maintenance support is for the following software modules: ESM Win NT Manager, ESM Win NT Agents, ESM Win NT W/S Agents, ESM Unix Managers, ESM Unix Agents, ESM Unix W/S Agents, ESM Netware Manager, ESM Netware Agent, ITA Manager, and ITA Agents. EPA believes Axent Technologies, Inc. Is the only vendor capable of satisfying the software maintenance requirements stated above. The period of performance is expected to be from October 31, 2000 through October 30, 2001. No solicitation is available. All interested parties must respond within 15 days of the date of this announcement. Interested vendors shall: 1) include information on the proposed services which clearly supports the requirements outlined above and; 2) provide itemized pricing that is sufficient to make a determination that competition is feasible.
