Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Penitentiary(USP), Terre Haute, IN., intends to award a firm-fixed price, requirements type contract for the services of Dental Hygienist. The service shall be provided to the inmate population at the USP and the adjacent Federal Prison Camp. The successful contractor shall perform routine and extensive prophylactic procedures and therapeutic procedures on patients referred by the Dental Staff. Contractor will perform duties consistent with the field of Dental Hygiene. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. It is anticipated that the position will be rquired 20-30 hours weekly. The position is a contractual arrangement and not a personnel appointment. Contract employee will not perform over 30 hours of work per week. The anticipated performance period is tentatively December 1, 2000, through September 30, 2001. The anticipated release date of the solicitation is October 12, 2000, closing November 14, 2000. All responsible sources may submit written requests for agency consideration.
