Description
The Naval Air Systems Command intends to place an order against Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-98-G-0035 with McDonnell Douglas Corporation (MDC), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Boeing Company, P.O. Box 516, St Louis, MO 63166, to provide sixty (60) to continue installs for Crash Survivable Flight Incident Recording System (CSFIRS) to include four follow-on buy options. MDC is the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the F/A-18 aircraft, and is the only known firm possessing adequate existing knowledge, facilities, tooling, and special test equipment to produce the CSFIRS kits in a timely manner, This synopsis is for information purposes only.
