Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. DAAA03-00-T-0246 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. Pine Bluff Arsenal has a requirement for 6 each fork lift trucks, Nissan JP40, or equal with the following salient characteristics: set down, gasoline driven, rated 4000 pound lift capacity @ 24 inch, overall length to face of forks: 99.6 inch maximum; overall width: 45.4 inch maximum; overhead guard height: 83.6 inch maximum; turning radius (minimum outside): 86.6 inch; drive tires pneumatic: 7.00-12-12pr; ster tires pneumatic: 6-9-10pr; wide view mast: OHL-84.4 inch maximum, MFH-130 inch maximum, FLO5.9 maximum; 42 inch standard forks: 1.5 inch X 4 inch (Class II);48 inch high standard load backrest; automatic transmission, one speed forward & reverse; large integral steel hydraullic tank with micron filters; fully hydrostatic steering; single lift/tilt lever; independent float system; tilt steering wheel; OHG mounted headlights and back up alarm; fully adjustable suspension seat; operator restraint system with retractable seat belts; and, sitd shifter and internal housing. If offering other than the Nissan JP40, provide brandname, model number and descriptive literature. Delivery shall be within 30 days from date of purchase order and shall be FOB Destination to Pine Bluff Arsenal. The provisions at 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors -- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall include with quotation a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Alternate II, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions, Commercial Items applies to this acquisition.
