Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19 and DCN 20000831. This acquisition is a 100% set-aside for small business and is under the Standard Industrial Classification Code 3569: with a small small business size standard of 500 employees or less. Submit written quotes (oral quotes/offers will not be considered) to 47th Contracting Squadron, 171 Alabama Avenue, Laughlin AFB TX 78843-5102 or FAX to 830-298-4178. On all quotes please provide your CAGE code number. This procurement is for name brand equipment items and no substitutes will be accepted. Solicitation number F41685-00-T0151 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) to furnish the following items with items to be delivered by 30 day ARO: Item 0001 one (1) each : Part Number (PN) 494-070-04 RAM 31 Blast Cleaning Cabinet Manufactured by Pauli Systems with the following options included: PN 470-001-00 Hepa Filter Attachment; PN 210-250-16 Electronic automatic pulse controller for DC, 2-Station (for cartridges); PN 730-176-00 Adjustable position Nozzle holder; and add rubber lining to cyclone. FAR 52.252-1, Solicitation Provisions Incorporated by Reference (Feb 1998), the following solicitation provisions are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items (Mar 2000), FAR 52.215-5 Facsimile Proposals (Oct 1997), and FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation_Commercial Items (Jan 1999) with the following evaluation factors: price and price related factors. All Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications_Commercial Items (Feb 2000). In accordance with FAR 52.252-2 Clauses Incorporated by Reference (Feb 1998), the following clauses are incorporated by reference and apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions_Commercial Items (May 1999), The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions to Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items (Aug 2000) is incorporated by reference, 52.222-3, Convict Labor (E.O. 11755) , 52.233-3, Protest After Award (31 U.S.C. 3553) . Paragraph (b) and (c) of the clause has the following items checked: FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity (E.O. 11246), FAR 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration (31 U.S.C. 3332). The clause at DFARS 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items (Mar 2000), with the following blocks checked: DFARS 252.225-7000 Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program (Sep 1999). In addition, the following clauses are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.246-1 Contractor Inspection Requirements (Apr 1984), FAR 52.247-34 F.o.b. Destination (Nov 1991), and DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (Mar 2000).
