A Technical Data Package does not exist at DSCR for this NSN. This is a flight safety critical aircraft part. Flight critical component. Offerors not cited as acceptable sources in the Procurement Item Description are required to obtain source approval from the Design Control Activity. Source approval requests/Technical Data Packages must be submitted to DSCR with the offer. In order to be considered as a potential qualified source, the following documentation is required: (a) All latest configuration drawings and specifications required for manufacture. (b) Process/operation sheets which describe in detail each critical process and operation required for manufacture. (c) Identification of all approved sources who will perform the critical process/operations including sources providing the forgings and castings. (d) A copy of the latest purchase order from the prime manufacturer, who maintains design control of the item. Origin inspection is required. FOB is Destination: QTY: 35 EA. With a 100% Qty Option. Ship to: Cherry Point, NC. Solicitation will be issued 6 October 2000 with a closing date of 7 November 2000. Anticipated award date is November 17, 2000.
