Description

The FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire 26 = ea.=20 Circuit Card Assemblies, P/N 63E917055G2, for the Naval Inventory = Control Point=20 (NAVICP), Philadelphia, PA. The circuit card assemblies are required = to=20 support NAVICP EOTS OFFLOAD OPTS#5. A firm-fixed-price supply contract = is=20 anticipated. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with the=20 Boeing-McDonnell Douglas Corporation under the authority of FAR = 6.302-1. =20 Boeing-McDonnell Douglas Corporation is the only supplier of this item = at this=20 time. This firm is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the = only=20 known source with the required technical and engineering expertise, = "in-plant"=20 support, and requisite data base to manufacture the required assembly. = This=20 notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. = Interested=20 parties may identify their interests and technical capability to = respond to=20 this requirement. Interested parties who contend they are technically=20 qualified should submit, within fifteen (15) days from the publication = of this=20 notice, specific factual data to be used on an evaluation basis to = determine=20 competence to successfully provide the required supplies. All = proposals=20 received within the fifteen (15) day notice period will be considered = by the=20 Government. The Government reserves the right not to open this = requirement to=20 competition based upon technical responses to this notice. Technical = responses=20 and requests received as a result of this notice of intent will = normally be=20 considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a=20 competitive procurement.
