Description

Sources Sought. The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA intends to purchase twenty-seven each Wotan Drifters. These items are being procured for the Atlantic Oceanic Meteorological Laboratory in Miami, Florida. Metocean Data Systems is the only known source of supply for these items. The intended procurement is for supplies for which the Government intends to acquire from one source of supply under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for proposals and there is no solicitation available at this time. The Government reserves the right to solicit bids/proposals based on receipt of affirmative responses to this notice or issue an order to Metocean Data Systems, whichever is determined to be most advantageous to the Government, without further notice. All interested parties must include the following: 1) contractor name and phone number, 2) a brief statement detailing capabilities to provide such items and 3) a list of names and phone numbers of references to whom you have provided like items. Failure to provide the information identified above when responding to this notice shall be considered non-responsive to the requirements of this announcement.
