Description

SSgt D. Heath, Contracting Officer. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This requirement is being issued as a Request for Quotes. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-19 and Defense Acquisition Cicular (DAC) 91-13. This acquisition falls under Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code 3572 and the related size standard is 1,000 employees. This acquisition is restricted to small businesses. The following is a list of requirements: Item 0001: 36-gig Seagate Ultra 160 S,zzy 80-pin Hard Drive, quantity of 36. Item 0002: 18-gig Seagate Ultra 160 S'zzy 80-pin Hard Drive, quantity of 2. Item 0003: 9-gig Seagate Ultra 160 S'zzy 80-pin Hard Drive, quantity of 6. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination, MARFORPAC, Camp H.M. Smith, HI 96861 with inspection/acceptance at destination. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be the best value to the Government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Price, Delivery, Past Performance, and Technical Ability. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Cmmercial Items, applies to this acquisition. All Offerors must submit a completed copy of the information contained in 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition, including subparagraphs (11) 52.222-21, Prohibition of Segregated Facilities; (12) 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; (13) 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; and (14) 52.222-36, Affirmative Actions for Workers with Disabilities. The offeror should also provide its Commercial and Government Entity (Cage) code; Contractor Establishment code (DUNS Number) and Tax Identification Number. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register to be eligible for award. If a change occurs in this requirement, only those offerors that respond to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
