INDUSTRY CONFERENCE: PICATINNY LEASING INITIATIVE WITH THE U.S. ARMY TANK AUTOMOTIVE AND ARMANENTS COMMAND, ARMAMENT RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT AND ENGINEERING CENTER, (TACOM-ARDEC), PICATINNY ARSENAL, NJ An Industry Conference for Picatinny s Leasing Initiative will be held on 3 October 00 in the Main Conference Room of Building #12 at TACOM-ARDEC, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000. Registration will be from 0800 to 0845. ARDEC s Public-Private Partnership Office will host the conference which will begin promptly at 0900 and conclude by 1400. The purpose of this conference is to provide attendees a more thorough understanding of Picatinny s approach to seeking a private sector developer to participate in the enhanced use and development of available real estate assets at Picatinny Arsenal. As part of the conference, the requirements associated with Picatinny s Leasing Initiative as delineated in Picatinny s Notice of Availability to Lease (NOL) document (Application # DACA51-1-00-124) will be thoroughly discussed. The NOL was issued to the public via the Commerce Business Daily on 16 Aug 00 and can be accessed at the Internet address http://acqc0133.pica.army.mil/. Under Site Directory, click on "Special Notice" and look for Picatinny's Notice of Availability to Lease . Click on the ProcNet Tracking Number (081620000) to the left which will bring you to the hyperlink to access Picatinny's NOL document. Double click on the hyperlink at the bottom of the page and the actual NOL will appear. In addition to the conference briefings, a tour of the Arsenal and a walk through of the four buildings to be leased will be conducted. No classified information will be discussed at the conference. Attendance at the conference is not mandatory. Further participation in any competitive leasing initiative for this effort is not contingent upon attendance. There is no registration fee. All expenses incurred by participants as a result of attending this conference will be borne by the participant. All visitors should park in the parking lot directly across the street from building 12. Signs will be posted from the main gate giving directions to building 12.
