Description

The Government intends to award a sole source order (simplified acquisition, reference number: DC-00-02873) to The Communications Collective (a small, woman-owned business), to provide editorial, design, and production support services in the development and review of the U.S. Climate Action Report 2001. The EPA has an unusual and compelling need to use this contractor to meet deadlines agreed to under an international treaty. Services are required to coordinate the development of the U.S. Third National Communication, which is mandated under the reporting obligations of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. the Communications Collective is uniquely qualified to provide timely services based on their past experience with all of the U.S. national communications developed during the 1990s for the State Department. The SIC is 7336. Proposals will not be accepted.
