Description

The Architect of the Capitol (AOC) has a requirement for services for the rental, installation, operation, and removal of a Sound System for the 2001 Presidential Inaugural Ceremonies at the West Front of the United States Capitol Building. Sound System shall be designed to provide high level reinforcement for speech and entertainment. The System is to be operational no later than 3:00 p.m., local time at Washington, D.C. on January 13, 2001 and remain in operation through 3:00 p.m. local time at Washington, D.C. on January 20, 2001. Each item of equipment used shall on its own, be evaluated in accordance with the requirements of the Buy American Act. Offerors shall be firms with at least five years experience in assembling, installing and operating the sound systems of magnitude and scope similar to those required for this project (outdoor coverage for approximately 300,000 people). A performance bond is required. NOTE: Requests for the Solicitation package MUST be made via FAX (by DIALING 202/225-3221).
