Project Title: Maintenance Dredging, Richmond Inner Harbor. This proposed job is UNRESTRICED. Description of Work: work consists of maintenance dredging of Richmond Inner Harbor of approximately 230,000 cubic yards of material to provide a project depth of -38 feet MLLW, plus one foot allowable over depth and disposing of dredged material at the Government-furnished open water disposal site (SF-DODS). All quantities stated are approximate. SIC CODE: This procurement will be conducted under SIC Code 1629. The size standard for this SIC code is $17,000,000.00. Large business competing for this project must comply with the FAR 42.219-9 clause regarding the requirement for a subcontracting plan in the part of the work it intends to subcontract. The recommended goals for subcontracting are 61.4% for small business, 9.1% for small disadvantaged business, and 5.0% for small business/women owned. A firm that submits a plan with lesser goals must submit written rationale to support goals submitted. Estimated cost is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Because a limited number of sets will be reproduced, copies are limited to one set (CD ROM) per firm. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the agency.
