Description

The Umatilla National Forest is soliciting quotes for the reconstruction of approximately 7.6 kilometers of road, including clearing, grading, drainage and grid rolled aggregate surfacing. The project is located in the state of Oregon, Umatilla and Wallowa Counties. From Walla Walla, Washington, travel southeast on Mill Creek road appoximately 23 kilometers to the junction with Forest Road 65 then travel southeast 15 kilometers to the junction with project road 6500040, continue northeast on road 65 to project roads 6500895 and 64000000. Desired start work date is June 1, 2001. Contract completion date is August 30, 2001. Prompt viewing of project site is recommended due to inclement weather conditions. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Anticipated issue date of the Request for Quotation document is October 10, 2000.
