Description

DESC: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DAKF06-00-T-0146 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This will be a 100% small business set aside (SIC: 5561, size standard $5M) RFQs should be quoted in accordance with the following: CLIN 0001, Quantity = 30, POLARIS 2000 MODEL YEAR INDY WIDE TRACK(Brand Name Only) and CLIN 0002, Quantity = 14 POLARIS 2000 MODEL YEAR RMK 500 TRAIL BREAKER snowmobiles (Brand Name Only). Warranty: Provide with quote standard commercial warranty information. Delivery will be to: Central Receiving Point, Bldg 330, Fort Carson, CO 80913 by 1 December 2000. Delivery will be FOB Destination. Do not substitute brand name. Polaris has been determined to be the only brand name capable of supporting the 10th Special Forces Group mission. The provision at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items and FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items are applicable to this solicitation. Offerors shall include with their offers a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items. Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items (02/2000) is hereby incorporated by reference, the following clauses are applicable and incorporated by reference: 52.222-21 Prohibition of Segregated Facilities, 52.222-26 Equal Opportunity, 52.222-35 Affirmative Action for Disabled Vererans of the Vietnam Era, 52.222-36 Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities, 52.222-37 Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era and 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration. The FAR clause 52.219-6 Total Small Business Set-Aside and DFARS clause 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration, DFARS 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions to Commercial Items, DFARS 252.225-7001 Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program is applicable to this solicitation.
