- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, request for quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number DADA10-00-T-0392 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This is 100% set aside for small businesses. The standard industrial classification code for this procurement is 1422 and the size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001. Contractor shall supply the product, all labor, material, personnel, transportation, and supervision to provide limestone base 3/4 inch, type "A", grade #2, to be delivered to selected sites at Camp Bullis, Texas, as indicated in CLIN 0002 thru CLIN 0008, and as directed by the ITAM Office, Camp Bullis. The duration of the contract shall not exceed 180 days. Period of Performance: 1 October 2000 thru March 20001. The Government reserves the right to make award on one, all, or any combination of line items, and to make subsequent award on additional line items within the acceptance period. Provide prices on CLIN 0002 thru 0008, only. CLIN 0002, Qty: 720 CY; CLIN 0003, Qty: 1,160.00 CY; CLIN 0004, Qty: 1,144.00; CLIN 0005, Qty: 1,027.00 CY; CLIN 0006, Qty: 75.00 CY; CLIN 0007, Qty: 733.00 CY, CLIN 0008, Qty: 1,100.00 CY. Total cubic yards: 5,959.00. This is a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded using the simplified acquisition procedures. Submit signed and dated quotations on company letterhead. Quotes may be faxed to (210) 221-4123 or 4125. The Government is not responsible for quotes sent by facsimile. The Government will make award to the lowest priced, responsible, contractor whose quotation conforms to the solicitation and is the best value to the Government. In addition to price, the following factor shall be used to evaluate the RFQ. Past performance. The Government reserves the right to evaluate delivery capability and make a best value decision. The contractor must be registered in Central Contractor Registration Database. Award will be made to a single source that can meet all specifications. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Items (Mar 00), apply and is incorporated by reference. Please review and comply with all instructions. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 99), is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial items (May 1999), FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Aug 2000), is applicable.
