Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 14QR4-125-00 and is a request for quotations current through Federal Acquisition Circular 45. This procurement is unrestricted. The standard classification code is 3272 and the small business size standard is 500. The procurement consists of supplying, delivering, and placing of a four-unit precast concrete Montrose Style flush toilet building for Wood River Campground as manufactured by CXT Inc., Spokane, WA, or equal. Supplier shall submit drawings for review and approval prior to beginning construction of the building. Calculations and Engineer's stamped drawings shall be available to purchaser upon request for their sole and specific use only. The design criteria are to ensure that the toilet will not only withstand the forces of nature, but will provide protection from vandalism and other unforeseen hazards and meets the desired intent for size, capacity, and use of the building. Colored Concrete and Paint: Interior floor color will be gray. Interior wall and ceiling color will be white. Exterior slab will be clear sealer. Exterior wall color will be Nuss Brown. Exterior roof color will be Java Brown. Toilet Paper Dispenser: dispenser will be capable of holding a minimum of three (3) standard rolls of toilet paper. Dead Bolt: Deadbolt will be a Lori Lock standard model with a double cylinder, 2-3/4" backset and US 26D finish. The cylinder will be a standard 1-1/8" -- 1-3/4" Schlage Mortise cylinder with compression ring and 626 finish. Mirror: Mirrow will be 18"x24" stainless steel. Scope of Work: Work specified under this section related to the placement of the unit by the supplier on purchaser prepared foundations. Materials: Bedding materials will be 3/4" minus crushed or screened aggregate provided, compacted, and set to required level by the purchaser. Location: It is the responsibility of the purchaser to provide the location and prepare the site for truck delivery and sufficient area for the crane to install the building. Access to Site: Delivery to the site made on normal highway trucks and trailers. Supplier shall coordinate delivery with purchaser by providing two (2) weeks notice prior to the actual delivery date. Site Location: Wood River Campground is located adjacent to Idaho State Hwy. 75 and approx. nine (9) miles north of Ketchum, Idaho. Desired Delivery Date: Desired delivery date will be May 15, 2001, plus or minus 15 days depending on site conditions. Supplier shall warrant all goods delivered pursuant hereto for a period of one (1) year of delivery.
