Description
The Republic of Turkey, Ministry of Defense, invites bids for the replacement of Existing COMEDNOREAST Low frequency (LF) Assests. The resulting contract will require the contractor to provide and deliver to the site hardware and software listed below, as well as related testing and hardware and software documentation. The existing LF Station in COMEDNOREAST War Headquarters in Ankara-Turkey was established in 1970's from NATO Infrastructure Program funds, and has been operational since then on 24 hours basis. The station is comprised of the following systems which are at the end of their technical life: LF exciter (STC 4021-E); LF amplifier (STC QTA-7A); LF antenna (TAE/44); Helix house and antenna turning elements, and Remote control equipment. The scope of this project covers the following works and services in order to replace the above summarized LF assests: 1 each Modulator frequency synthesizer(with traffic formatter and code converter); 1 each 25 kW LF solid-state amplifier; 1 each Manual selector unit; 2 each Line modems; 1 lot Helix house equipment; 1 lot LF antenna system (with 110 meters mast, 12 ea. top radials, accessories); 1 lot Ground plane (with copper wire radials); 1 lot Remote control system (with PC, printer, and software); 1 each 30 kW Dummy load; 1 lot RF feeder coaxial cable ( approx. 70 meters); 1 lot Signal and power cables, and surge arrestor; 1 lot Spare parts, special tools and test equipment; Construction of a 16 m2 helix house (with RFI sheilding); Cable trenching and installation; Dismantling the existing helix house and the antenna; Delivery of the above listed hardware, software, spare parts and documents, including transporation and insurance, to site; Perform necessary constructions, installations, tests, checkouts and demonstrations to ensure that the items provided operate properly and meet the requirements set forth in the specifications document and deliver the station turn-key to the user, and Provide warranty for two years starting from the Provisional Site Acceptance of the Project. All applicants must be certified by the U.S. Department of Commerce, Office of Telecommunications Technologies.
