Description

The VA Boston Healthcare System, 150 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02130-4893 intends to award a sole source purchase order to Spectranetics, 96 Talamine Court, Colorado Springs, CO 80907-5186, for the procurement of one Spectranetics CVX-300 Gen 3.5 Excimer Laser Surgical System under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The order also includes parts warranty, staff and laboratory training programs. The anticipated award date is September 29, 2000. Any offeror purporting to be able to furnish a compatible system and services may submit a written response demonstrating such capabilities by September 28, 2000. Written responses should be mailed to the above referenced address or faxed to 617-278-4546. A determination by the Contracting Officer not to compete this notice is within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Information received will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
