Description

This is the final modification to an announcment made in March, 2000 and again in July, 2000. The initial solicitation notice stated that the Government wanted to restrict this procurement to the West Coast of the United States (Washington, California and Hawaii). A Pre-solicitation conference was held at DSCR on 30 March 2000 to discuss the requirement. At that time, it was restricted only to the west coast. The second announcement requested potential offerors to submit information on the use of commercial cylinders. The Government intends to issue a solicitation for industrial gases in commercial cylinders at a later date. This is the final notice of the Government's intention to negotiate with a responsible firm or firms for the supply of various industrial gases to Military and Federal entities all over the entire Continental United States. Minimum order quantity is one truckload and the solicitation details what constitutes a truckload (number of cylinders and pallets). Cylinders will be Government-furnished. Source Selection procedures will be utilized to evaluate proposals received. ABVS will be utilized in the evaluation of proposals.
