- This Synopsis is for the procurement of Automatic Tank Gauging Systems (ATG) for the U.S. Air Force, Air National Guard, Air Force Reserves, and the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) for fuel storage tanks at various locations worldwide. A two year Requirements Contract is anticipated. The System requirements are for the hardware, installation, software/firmware, data items, warranty and maintenance is required. 0001 NSN: 6680N0010002ZSYD BEQ 60 Autoamtic Tank Gauge Type 1 0-55K Below Ground Cylindrical Tanks 0002 NSN: 6680ND0010004ZYD BEQ 80 Automatic Tank Gauge Type 2 Above Ground Tanks 0- unlimited 0003 NSN: 6680ND0010006ZYD BEQ 10 Automatic Tank Gauge Type 3 Below Ground Tanks 55k -- unlimited 0004 NSN: 6680ND0010005ZYD BEQ 110 Automatic Tank Gauge Type 4 0-25 k Cylindrical Tanks Each ATG includes the following: Display Unit Water Measure- ment Device, conduit and leak detection as required for turn key operations. The leak detection will be included in retrofits and upgrades for existing ATG's and installation for newly constructed tanks. 0005 Installation: The contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, tools, supplies, and equipment. 0006 Data in Support of Line Item 0001-0004 0007 Maintenace Plan Form Fit and Function: The following describes an ATG System, which shall automate data collection and be installed in or on petroleum fuel tanks of various shapes and sizes. The tanks are located above and below ground with capacities ranging from 1,000 to 125,000 barrels. The ATG System shall provide the capability to determine current inventory levels, provide reliable and consistent inventory measurement, and provide a means of determing the tank inventory status (i.e. issue receipt) in above and below ground tanks. The ATG System shall perform for a single storage tank or group of storage tanks as defined by geographical location, shape and size of tank, and/or product code. Groups may be composed of two or more tanks, depending on user determination. The ATG shall interface with a Government owned information management system. Data gathered by the ATG shall be used to support decision making via the contractors ATG automated management system software running on the Government furnished computer. ATG must interact directly with the Fuels Manager software.
