Description
The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The information required by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ linked above or it may be accessed at http://procurement.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/EPS/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin= . NASA/MSFC plans to acquire: 1. PULSE CHARACTERIZATION EQUIPMENT NSN=6625 P/N=SUPPLY SOURCE= MOLECTRON MODEL OM4001 FOUR CHANNEL JOULEMETER/RATIOMETER THE INSTRUMENT MUST MEASURE PULSE ENERGY INDEPENDENTLY ON FOUR INDEPENDENT CHANNELS UP TO 1KHZ REPETITION RATE OVER A WIDE DYNAMIC RANGE OF PJ TO J. THE INSTRUMENT MUST BE ABLE TO TAKE THE RATIO OF ANY TWO CHANNELS IN ANY ORDER, COMPUTE STATISTICAL QUANTITIES {MEAN, STANDARD DEVIATION, MAXIMUM, MINIMUM, AND NUMBER OF MISSING PULSES}, AND BE CAPABLE OF RETURNING ALL DATA OVER A GPIB AND RS232 INTERFACE. IT MUST BE FULLY PROGRAMMABLE AND CAPABLE OF DATA STORAGE AND RETRIEVAL. THE SYSTEM MUST HAVE A RESOLUTION OF 12 BITS OR GREATER, AN ACCURACY OF PLUS OR MINUS 3%, AND A LINEARITY OF 1% OR BETTER. QUANTITY: 1 EA 2. P/N=SUPPLY SOURCE= MOLECTRON J3-05 PYROELECTRIC LASER ENERGY DETECTOR {0.2 MICROJOULES TO 2 MIL LIJOULES}. THE WAVELENGTH RANGE COVER THE RANGE OF 0.19 TO 12 MICROMETERS, AND HAVE A LARGE APERTURE OF AT LEAST 5MM. QUANTITY: 3 EA 3. P/N=SUPPLY SOURCE= MOLECTION J3S-10 SILICON LASER ENERGY DETECTOR {0.2 PICOJOULE TO 0.2 MICROJOULE}. THE DETECTOR MUST COVER THE WAVELENGTH RANGE OF 0.19 TO 1.1 MICRONS AND HAVE AN APERTURE AT LEAST 10MM. THE DETECTOR MUST BE COMPATIBLE WITH LINE ITEM #1, THE RATIOMETER.
