This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. SOLICITATION: RF0MFQ12D1D2 DUE: 9/26/00 COB It is the Government's intent to purchase on a sole-source basis from W. C. Burroughs Co., Jessup, MD, the following: TITLE: Purchase for one (1) Flow Bengal 4ft. x 4ft. Abrasive Water Jet cutter and associated items, with support for installation and check out which meets the following requirements: Eagle 30 Horse Power Pump, b. 8: Motorized Z-Axis Adjustment,c. Speed range from 0 to 300 inches per minute, d. chip Removal system, e. FlowPATH Software Module, f. flowCUT Software Module. Delivery within 10 weeks of award.
