Description

This acquisition is for the procurement of labor and materials to renovate habitability spaces aboard various US Naval Ships and will result in the establishment of an Indefinite Delivery Type Contract with a base and four option years. Habitability spaces may include, but are not limited to, the following areas: heads, berthing compartments, staterooms, offices, lounges, ship store, barber shop, galley/mess room/wardroom, supply storage area, library, chapel, etc. Renovations may include, but are not limited to, the following: overheads, decks, bulkheads, furniture, rearrangements, etc. Successful contractor shall be required to have office and manufacturing facilities within a one (1) hour commute of NOB Norfolk because of the need to meet with contracting and ship personnel routinely throughout the life of any project.
