Description

This is a Sole Source, Time & Material acquisition in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(b)(1). The resultant contract will be a one-year contract with four one-year options. The effort is for contractor depot maintenance and overhaul services. Northrop Grumman Company, Rolling Meadows, IL 60008 is the current prime contractor for the production of the Operational Control Center portion of the AN/TPQ-36(V)8 (FMS and U.S. Army requirements) and AN/TPQ-46A (U.S. Marine Corps requirements), Firefinder System. The Government has no detailed repair documents for the components listed below. Northrop Grumman is the only contractor possessing the essential technical documents and experience to provide the overhaul and maintenance services. FAR Clause 52.244-5 (Competition in Subcontracting) will be included in the resultant contract.
