Description
This is not a request for either a quote or proposal, or an invitation for bid. The intent of this pre-solicitation synopsis is to identify potential offerors for maintenance and repair services for emergency generator units at Various Locations, Oahu, Hawai. SIC code 7699 applies. Estimated cost: Between $25,000 and $100,000 per year. The contract term will be a base period of one year plus four option years. The total term of the contract, including all options, will not exceed 60 months. acquisition is being considered as a small business set-aside. All interested sources are encouraged to respond. Interested sources must submit a Statement of Capability (SOC) which describes in detail the source's capability to 1) Provide Maintenance And Repair Services For Emergency Generator Units At Various Areas, Oahu, Hawaii; 2) Manage the contract by establishing a program to monitor, record, control and maintain the contract's quality standards and progress; 3) Conduct the specified Preventive Maintenance Inspection and Service, (PMIS) work on the emergency generator units (testing, adjusting, cleaning, inspecting, and performing maintenance) on a regular scheduled basis for Diesel engine (including the fuel, lubricating, cooling, and starting systems), Generator (entire unit up to but not including the automatic transfer switch). Includes operational/load testing of the motor generator unit; 4) Respond to Service Calls; 5) other indefinite quantity work such as repair or equipment renewal work not covered by the FFP Work. SOCs must be submitted within 14 calendar days of the date of this notice. The SOC must specify the full name of the company, business size, relevant past performance that indicate the firm has experience in the type of services described, and any proposed teaming arrangements. For the past performance information, SOCs shall include a list of contracts with dollar value, scope of work relevant to the scope described above and Administrative contracting officer with phone number. SOCs must be complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the firm's qualifications to perform the defined work and business size eligibility. The SOCs will be the basis for the Government's decision to establish this requirement as a small business set-aside for competitive acquisition. If adequate responses are not received from small business companies, the Government will not set aside this requirement for small business firms.
