Description

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) intends to renew contract for operation and maintenance of the "one-of-a-kind" Hoverprobe 2000 (Hovercraft Pilot), as well as a multi-sonic meti-drill operator and a wilderness expert. THE USGS ANTICIPATES AWARDING THE PURCHASE ORDER TO SISKO SUPPORT SYSTEMS; this contractor has extensive experience in navigating, operating a d maintaining aircraft and hovercraft especially the "one-of-"-kind" Hoverprobe 2000,a and operation of MPI multi-sonic drilling equipment rigged for soft sediment core recovery. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY; no formal RFQ will be available. This award will be made on or about 6 October 2000, under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000,00. Any Vendors who believes that it can provide evidence of Hoverprobe 2000 operation and maintenance, multi-sonic drill operation and evidence of being a wilderness expert, should fax capability statement to the CO at 703-648-7901. All responses must be received in this office within 14 calendar days from the date this publication first appears. All responses must be in writing, no telephone requests will be accepted.
