Description

The General Services Administration (GSA) announced an opportunity for Construction Excellence in Public Building and the intent to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Construction Services for the National World War II Memorial located on the National Mall in Washington, DC on June 9, 2000. The American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC) has been authorized by Congress to establish the National World War II Memorial and has selected GSA as its agent for project management and procurement services. In accordance with GSA policy, the RFP was issued using the Electronic Posting System (EPS). GSA will issued this solicitation electronically. Interested parties may access the solicitation at http://www.eps.gov/. There will be a preproposal meeting on September 26, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. at the HHS Auditorium, Cohen Building located at 330 Independence Avenue, SW, Washington, DC.
