Description

The 30 Space Wing Contracting Squadron, Vandenberg AFB intends to solicit by full and open competition for the construction of the Family Camp Support Facility and the Recreation Equipment Storage Facility, project number XUMU 98-5000A/B. The Family Camp Facility will be a one-story structure of 2,160 square feet. The structure will include an office with an entry lobby and counter; a community room with a coffee bar/counter; a maintenance shop, a shower and toilet for men and women, a laundry room; a janitor closet and a mechanical room. The recreation storage facility will be 9,135 square foot structure. It will include two offices; two staff toilets; a break room; a maintenance shop with an outdoor work area; a separate area for a non-appropriated fund (NAF) store; a service counter; bait freezer and ice freezer; kiosk to display rental items and storage area for rental items. The specifications and drawings will specify the work in detail. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal -- Price Performance Trade-off (PPT). The current SIC is 1542; effective 1 Oct 2000, the NAICS code will be 233320. The size standard is $17M. The magnitude of this project is between $1M and$5M. The period of performance is 390 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued. The release of the solicitation package (including the specifications and drawings) has yet to be determined, but it is anticipated on or about 15 Sep 2000.
