Description

This project consists of repairing 10 tainter gates, including cover plating of strut arms, addition of new bracing members, removal and replacement of new pins, bushings, keeper plates and bolts, as well as minor heat straightening of strut arm flanges. Also included is cleaning and painting the 10 tainter gates, gate hoist machinert, and all related components. The side seals will be replaced on each gate, which will include new stainless steel bolts. Estimated magnitude of work is between $1,000,000-$5,000,000. Issue date for RFP will be on on about 28 Sept 2000. Request for Proposal(RFP) documents will be made available upon request. In order to receive documents in a timely manner requests should be received by 27 Sept 2000.
