Description

This announcement is NOT for the purpose of an acquisition. There is NO solicitation package available. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ, seeks potential additional sources for Qualified Products List (QPL) 5091.3/2, Products Qualified under Military Specification MIL-T-5091.3/2, "Transmission Power, Constant Ratio, Gearbox, Engine Mounted 47 HP" and MIL-T-5091, "Transmission Power, Constant Ratio, General Spec." In accordance with FAR 9.204, this notice is published to solicit additional sources or products to seek qualification in accordance with the QPL. This notice covers the requirements for constant ratio power transmissions for driving aircraft accessories, remotely from aircraft engines, gearboxes, or aircraft engines. Interested parties must contact the Contract Specialist for copies of the QPL specification. The Government will NOT pay for the costs of qualification except as provided specifically in FAR 9.204 (a) (2). Please see Note 9.
