PART: SPECIAL NOTICES SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT order to ORAMAAX Dental Products, Inc., Freeport, NY 11520, for the HQ, US ARMY DENTAL COMMAND, FORT SAM HOUSTON, TX. This is a sole source procurement due to the patent for Dental Floss Cards. This is not a formal solicitation. This synopsis is not considered a request for proposals or quotations. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice, but will be used to determine if comparable source or offerors are available and more advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received the purchase will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
