Notice of intent to award contract DTCG81-01-P-3SY007 on a sole source basis to Calgon Carbon Corporation under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The requirement is for Calgon Carbon waste water treatment system, for the USCG Support Center Elizabeth City, NC. The performance period is from October 1 2000 though September 30, 2001. The standard industrial classification code is 8744 and the size standard is 500. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the request or submit a quote. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However all quotes received after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete with the proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the government.
