Description

The Acquisition Management Department has a requirement for the Blood Bank, National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, MD. NNMC intends to award a sole sourced preventive maintenance contract to Baxter Healthcare Corporation Deerfield, IL for the following four (4)CS-3000 Plus units: Serial# 1404M; Serial# 1026M; Serial# 2166M; Serial# 1072M. Award will be made in the form of a purchase order for a base year period of one (1) year effective from date of award through 30 September 2001 with one (1)year option. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This acquisition is being conducted under the guidelines as set forth in the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Award will be contingent upon availability of FY01 funding.
