Description

Solicitation N00421-00-Q-0685 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This action is not set aside for small business. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with Concurrent Computer Corporation for the software upgrade and technical maintenance support for Concurrent Computer Corporation products under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1. (Only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements). Concurrent Computer Corporation is the sole manufacturer of Concurrent Computer Corporation products. Concurrent Computer Corporation is also the sole provider of all technical support services for all of its hardware and software products. Award is expected on 28 September 2000. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received by 27 September 2000. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
