Description

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) intends to negotiate on a SOLE-SOURCE basis with Burton L. Edelstein, DDS, MPH, d/b/a/ Kids & Caries, 190 Hempstead Street, New London, CT 06320 to provide follow-on technical assistance to the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) in the implementation of a HRSA Dental Health Access Initiative. This would include providing technical assistance on oral health issues to the Deputy Administer of HRSA and to the Director of the HRSA-HCFA Oral Health Initiative; following and reporting on non-federally sponsored regional, state and local efforts to improve access to dental care to vulnerable populations; working to foster communication with HRSA Partners in the public sector; and providing a monograph that substantiates the disparities in oral health, access, suffering and funding that the oral Health Initiative seeks to remedy. Dr. Edelstein is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services. The period of performance is one year. This announcement is for information only and is subject to availability of funds. A Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition is on file.
