Description

Single award term contract (in three categories) from 11/1/00 to as late as 10/31/00 for various Government agencies. Production of work assumed within 130 km (80 miles) of Oakland, CA, for Categories 2 and 3. Contract is for printing of tabloid periodicals on newsprint and offset stocks, with issues ranging from 1,300 to 24,000 copies of 4 to 60 pages. Trim sizes range from 216 x 279 mm (8-1/2 x 11") to 292 x 445 mm (11-1/2 x 17-1/2"). Required contract operations include copy pickup, copy transmission via modem, generation of films from furnished digital and camera-ready copy, proofs, Quality Levels 3 and 4 single- and multi-color printing, folding, labeling, bundling, packing, and delivery within twelve hours to five workdays.
