Description

This is a notice of intent to award on a sole-source basis for the commercial items in accordance to FAR Part 12 procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only notice; a written solicitation will not be issued. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC)is 8299 and small business size is $5 million. The U.S. Immigration & Naturalization Service (INS) intends to contract with Plato Education Services, R.D. #1, Box 183, Turbotville, PA 17772 for a detainee educational rehabilitation program located in The York County, PA Prison. The educational courseware/software package is identified as Package #6 and consist of the following: Reading 1, Reading for Information, Writing Series, Communication, Math Fundamentals, Applied Math, Pre-Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, Geometry & Measurement 1, Trigonometry, Life & Job Skills, Employment Partnership, Reading 2, Advance reading Strategies, Writing in the Workplace, Science Fundamentals, Math Problem-Solving, Data Skills, Beginning Algebra, Advance Algebra, Geometry & Measurement 2, Social Studies, Applied Physical Sci: Tech Fund and Quality.
